April 2010: under the patronage of the university ESADE a group of master students founded the association iGreen in order to inspire students and underpin the bridge between business and society, by means of stressing the need of an environmentally sustainable economy and the many opportunities behind it. To start doing it, they successfully organized conferences, roundtables and competitions inside the university. Their motto was: “Inspiring green futures…”
July 2010: inspired by the founders (first objective accomplished!), undergraduate students of ESADE undertake the association’s management with the purpose of going further and turning iGreen into a widespread brand and reference in terms of sustainability. The objective is to become real experts in sustainable business, and use our knowledge to carry out all kinds of projects; some on our own and others in collaboration with other students, universities, companies, public administrations or international organizations. Our motto is:“Passion for efficiency…”
iGreen was born from student’s passion and commitment to business and society. All of its members work voluntarily with the main purpose of bearing the fruits of their efforts in the fulfillment of their self-set projects. We believe that there is no better “fuel” to rocket iGreen. There’s still a long way to walk until our economy coexists in harmony with the society and the environment. However it is our strong will that we succeed in spreading our dynamical, enterprising and social responsible character not only onto future student generations but also onto the whole business community and onto any extend of human society.
